Bakelite / Hylam Insulation Sheets | Phenolic Paper Laminate for Electrical Applications
Bakelite / Hylam Sheets are high-strength phenolic resin–bonded paper laminates designed for electrical insulation and structural applications. They are manufactured by impregnating insulating paper with phenolic resin and curing it under high temperature and pressure. This produces a rigid, durable laminate with excellent mechanical strength, dielectric performance, and thermal stability.
3240 Glass Epoxy Sheets are high-quality electrical glass fabric reinforced epoxy laminates, manufactured by impregnating woven glass cloth with epoxy resin and curing it through controlled drying and hot pressing. This material is comparable to EPGC201 and is widely used for electrical and structural insulation in motors, transformers, and electrical equipment.
These sheets are widely used for electrical insulation components in motors, transformers, switchgear, and electrical equipment, especially where high voltage, oil resistance, and mechanical strength are required. Bakelite laminates also perform reliably in transformer oil and humid environments.
Available in a characteristic red-brown color, Bakelite / Hylam sheets are easy to machine and ideal for gears, insulating plates, gaskets, spacers, and structural electrical parts.
