3240 Glass Epoxy Sheets are high-quality electrical glass fabric reinforced epoxy laminates, manufactured by impregnating woven glass cloth with epoxy resin and curing it through controlled drying and hot pressing. This material is comparable to EPGC201 and is widely used for electrical and structural insulation in motors, transformers, and electrical equipment.

This material is comparable to EPGC201 and is widely used for electrical and structural insulation in motors, transformers, and electrical equipment.
3240 laminates offer excellent mechanical strength, high dielectric performance, good heat resistance, and low moisture absorption. They maintain stable electrical properties even after water immersion and can operate reliably in humid environments and transformer oil. Due to their excellent machinability, these sheets can be easily cut, drilled, and milled into precision components such as gaskets, gears, spacers, motor parts, and switchgear supports.
With a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 170–180°C and a continuous operating temperature of about 140°C, FR-5 is ideal for high-layer-count PCBs, power electronics, and automotive electronics where thermal reliability is critical. The material is certified to NEMA FR-5 and widely accepted across electrical and aerospace industries.
This grade is also highly cost-effective, providing a strong alternative to more expensive engineering plastics while still delivering reliable performance for large-scale electrical and industrial applications.
