The production process of mica insulation sheet involves the layering of muscovite mica paper, which is produced through the splitting of high-quality muscovite mica flakes, along with silicone resin in a very small proportion. The difference between the mica sheet and glass-epoxy or phenolic laminates is that the heat resistance property of mica sheets does not depend upon the resin system at all but rather on the mica mineral alone.
