Magnetic Slot Wedges are advanced motor insulation components manufactured from E-glass fabric impregnated with epoxy resin and specially formulated iron powder, cured under high temperature and high pressure. This composite structure provides an optimal balance of mechanical strength, magnetic permeability, thermal stability, and dimensional precision.
Magnetic slot wedges are installed in the stator or rotor slots of electric motors and generators. Unlike conventional non-magnetic wedges, they actively optimize the magnetic circuit, improving electromagnetic performance while maintaining strong mechanical fixation of windings.
By improving magnetic flux distribution, magnetic slot wedges help reduce iron loss, eddy current loss, vibration, and noise, while also controlling temperature rise and increasing overall motor efficiency. Both electrically insulating and magnetic-conductive (semi-conductive) versions are available, with Thermal Classes B, F, and H to suit different motor designs.
All grades have been tested and approved by international professional laboratories and validated through long-term customer applications.
